The RYA PWC Proficiency is a one day course aimed to teach students how to safely operate a Personal Watercraft. The RYA PWC proficiency course is ideal for both beginners and experienced riders. At PWC Training we find that even PW operators with many hours of experience learn something new. The RYA course is increasingly required to launch from the ever increasing number of Harbours that allow PW’s to launch.
At PWC Training we have a designated class room area overlooking the training area in Hayle Harbour which is spectacular location to learn how your PW works and to gain the confidence to safely operate your PW under the supervision of our RYA certified PWC Instructor.
We offer students own craft tuition or we do have craft for you to learn on, but there is an additional fee. PWC Training offers a special discount to Cornwall Jet Skier Club Members. The course teaches you how to use your PW safely, responsibly and with confidence, ensuring that you get the best out of your craft. It covers high and low speed riding skills, essential safety information, collision avoidance and orientation at sea.
PWC Training is home to K38 UK Water Safety and uses the RYA PW Proficiency as a prerequisite for all of its K38 UK Rescue Courses. Please note that there is an additional launch fee of £12 if students are not a member of Cornwall Jet Skier Club.
